I was also very nervous on ordering my dress online. But reading the reviews did help me slightly. I got my dress today, however it's packed in a small bag, it was all ok after i take it out and it’s very beautiful. I am so happy with my dress it was perfect slight different at pleat but that's not a big thing. the fabric is really floaty, like others say. Well, I just got the dress today, coming from work, opening it like a crazy person. but it was omg soooo exciting and scary b/c i had a big feeling it won’t fit right. and maaaaaaan, wore that dress it fits like a ring. it is just so PERFECT! it makes you feel so good! hey it looks a lot more expensive that what you pay for. i love it the fabric is soft very soft indeed and fluffy and it moves when u dance! its just what a girl would want for her big day. No matter what body size or shape you have i am telling you it will look NICE! thank you so much!

I bought this dress two months before my wedding. It arrived in around 3 weeks, so really quick. Had it custom made and it was so worth the extra money! I really like it and the quality is amazing! I thought it would be ok from a distance and poor up close, but this isn't the case. It's very intricate and well made. I would not hesitate to recommend this dress. I just got my dress yesterday, it looks great it was just a bit loose around the stomach, but I guess it's better to be a bit big than too small. Everything else is PERFECT. I'm very happy with my choice.

I'm thinking about ordering this dress and was wondering about the color choices... I', torn between the light ivory and ivory. White does not look good on my skin tone so I'm wondering how different the two shades of ivory are.

I received my dress yesterday and it surpassed my expectations. The quality of the workmanship was very good, and the dress fitted well even though I had made changes to the measurements after the order went through. I will need to get the dress taken up (as I ordered it a bit longer) and also get the bust taken in slightly.

I have not tried on the orginal dress (Dune gown from Jcrew) but from what I can gather the main difference is my gown has more organza flowers. Also the flowers extend further up the dress (i.e. in the above picture you can see the top of the left shoulder strap, you can't see this in my dress).

The dress is also alot more structured and the underside is heavier than I thought it would be. Alot of work seems to have gone into the pleating around the top. Also the bust has padded cups so I won't need to wear a bra.

I am very happy with my dress and will be recommending inweddingdress.com to others.

Also, it says that the waist is normal, though to me it looks like an empire waist ( which I actually want :) also one of the reviewers - annettek - that bought the dress said that "it's the most flattering of all empire styles?":-)

So, is it normal or empire waist? To see some actual pictures would be awesome.

Does anyone know who the designer is?

I love this dress and I'm really thinking to order it. All the reviews are positive which is encouraging and price is unreal. Someone did say that the pleated chiffon around the waste made them look slightly big; also I normally look better in empire waist dresses - wondering if it can be made with the higher up waist?

I'm hoping to find it or something similar in the bridal shop and see how it will fit, so if someone knows the designer, please let me know, much appreciated!!

I recently ordered and received this dress. I am getting married in May so I ordered it early just in case I didn't love the dress or it didn't turn out as I'd hoped. I live in Canada and it arrived within 18 business days, . It cost me $368 plus $25 in duty for this dress and a flower girl dress. I have not received any bill for the brokeage yet (fingers crossed it doesn't come at all).

I am very hapy with the look and quality of this dress. I ordered the dress knowing I would probably have to alter the dress when it arrived and I was right...it's a little too big through the waist and hips but I'm 6 feet tall so this is a common sizing issue I have with dresses. I ordered the dress with an extra 2 inches added to the bottom and it is plenty long for me!

I would give this dress a 9 / 10 for quality! Great deal!!!!
