Tips to choose an A-line or a princess wedding gown

a-line wedding dress

Princess and A-line wedding dresses are virtually the same silhouette. Both have side seams that run vertically from the shoulder to the hem. A-line and princess shapes tend to be the most figure-friendly.

A-Line is a classic shape that flares gradually from the waist for a long, elongated line that is flattering to all heights, shapes and sizes. The A-line can disguise full hips, balance the torso and elongate the silhouette to make the bride look taller and slimmer.

Princess chiffon beach wedding dresses are fitted at the bodice and drape over the hips gracefully. The princess is great for minimizing full stomach and hips.

An A-line wedding gown is the most flattering gown that a girl could wear, because it typically balances out the figure, and the skirt literally comes out in an A shape. It is also sometimes called a princess line, but in fact the princess line refers to the seam lines down through the front of the bodice. These are princess seams that give the shape of an A-line. When a gown is cut with princess seams, typically it becomes an A-line gown.

Whatever it is an A-line custom designed wedding dress or a princess gown, remember the final purpose is that the dress should be flatters your body shape. Be a beautiful bride!
